Clouds are amazing!

Not bad for a phone camera!

My Favorite!

Silhouette of Nathan
I love taking picture of God's handiwork. just looking at the clouds I am like wow they are so awesome... then I think Wow how Amazing and Awesome is God, to have spoke the world into existence. I can't even wrap my mind around it. Just stop and recognize during the day how blessed we all are to live in a time where we have the Bible to lead us closer to God. I have heard people try to say things against God and his ability to create, but I know that my Lord did indeed create the world... Don't believe me? I am sad for your lack of intelligence. well not sure where that little rant came from... anyways here are the pictures of the clouds.

Look who can climb over a gate!

Yep Ezekiel can hold himself on the gate without any assistance.... we just don't know when he gets distracted and will let go... yikes! Daddy is there to give him a helping hand just in case.

Definitely a Vergin

I have a hard time actually blogging  so I cheat... and post pictures instead but hey! thousand words per picture means I am doing pretty well right?  I Love being his mom and bragging about him! :-)

Google maps is a bit screwy

wow! that is a looong drive!
Ha ha ha.. so I was trying to look up directions to a friends bridal shower the other day. It was only a 35 minute drive. but here is the mag Google gave me. Yeah looks like I have to go to Mexico then drive all the way to Canada... yeah I think I will be late. :-) This post was just because I found it really really funny. oh, So I am really really happy now... I lost my phone, was pretty sure it fell out in the brushy field the dry girls (Jerseys) are in. Thankfully none of them stepped on it, It also had all of these pictures that I have just posted this evening on it. I think it is time to get a new thumb drive to store pictures on. I have 460 pictures on the card in my phone. I can't help it photography is in my blood. If you have not seen this before check out Rhemaranchphotography.com It is my dad's and step mom's website. I took some of the pictures on there too.

We are going to have an apprentice!

Jeremiah and Egg mobile
About a month and a half ago we were contacted by a guy the same age as Nathan, who was interested in apprenticing for him. We had him fly here for a couple days for a check out the beginning of this month. If God allows us to find housing for him, He and his Wife and Son will be coming by June. We are very excited to have him coming, he is a great guy. Currently we do not have a logo for our business Silky Cow LLC, however while Jeremiah ( soon to be apprentice) was here he started designing one for us. I myself am looking forward to his wife and son being here. Ezekiel and Moses (Jeremiah's son) are just a little over 4 months apart. Looks like we will have a little farming buddy for Ezekiel! So if you will please pray we can find housing for their family, we would greatly appreciate it.

feed number bed

Ezekiel and I were playing in the barn waiting for Nathan to finish washing the milk buckets. It wasn't long before we found the feed bin for the cow's grain. Wow, it was a lot of fun digging in it... at least Ezekiel thinks so. He was having so much fun I could not resist taking a few pictures. We have been having lots of random thunderstorms so the barn is a great place to play while we wait out the storm.

Ezekiel loves to do whatever Daddy and Mommy are doing. In this case it is taking a look at the truck to find out what is wrong with it. He looks very optimistic even though the task of fixing it won't be easy. I just noticed while posting this that Ezekiel is wearing his Bob the Builder sweatshirt. "Can We Fix It? Yes We Can" very appropriate I think.

I love my boy!

 my blue eyed boy!
It is hard for me to believe that on Monday February 14th. my son will be 8 months old! I am doing everything I can to treasure every moment I have with him. I know before I know it he will be walking and then he will be even more of a Mr. independent. I am so thankful that is becoming spring! although today does not feel like spring ( sleeting this morning and a cold rain of 38 degrees) however we have been having nice warm days and grass is starting to turn green! I am happy that Ezekiel gets to learn to walk in the spring so that when winter comes around again he will be a steady walker. We have had three Jersey calves born so far this spring. Two bull calves and one heifer their names are Osso Buco, Foie Gras, and Tamale! We figured since they make very tasty milk and meet we would name them after some very tasty foods! Foie Gras's mother is Goose we thought it was fitting! :-) Ezekiel was happy to give the new calves a welcoming hug!

Elly's last week with us.

I am going back to a couple weeks ago. I took picture of a whole day. So you can "see" for yourself how blessed I am and how beautiful life is! Ezekiel and I headed outside at 8am to meet Elly at the driveway. Then all three of us went for a mile walk out to the egg mobile, and back. then we decided to go out to watch the cows get milked! after the milking was mostly done we started to get hungry, so we came back to the house and eat some breakfast. this was at about 10:30. when breakfast was over we went to see how processing (pouring milk into plastic jugs and putting them in freezer to chill) and cleaning buckets was going. We watched that for a little while then decided. to go take a nap... on the lawn :-) after our nap we went and pet the goats and said "hi" to the girls (our Jerseys that are not currently milking) all this play on the farm made some hungry little ones. so we came back to the house and had lunch. around 12:30- 1:00pm. time to swing for a while on the porch! they both love the swing. got nice and relaxed swinging and figured we should have a nap time (this time inside) well.... two hours later and we were outside playing in the little bit of grass there was. we went for another "tour" of the farm saying "Hi" to the chickens at the  Egg mobile, the milking Jersey, the girls, the goats and of course Storm and Rainbow. those two girls pretty much hung out with us most of the day. time to eat 1st dinner, and then Elly went home for the night. what a fun day we had!

For the past month I have been trying to sign in and add more posts. But Google kept giving me an error message. Now that I have finally gotten in I am forgetting what I was going to post.... ironic. I will do a brief recap for you and then try to add some of the posts I was going to, they will be a little out of date. Our time of having Elyanah (Elly) has come to an end as of the 1st of March. Her parents decided to take her to a daycare their friend was starting called "Little Blessings" love the name. You may be thinking well you should have lots of free time now that you are not watching Elly. I would your right except... I am now our milk delivery driver. Friday I took a delivery and it was the longest time I have been away from Ezekiel.... a whole 3 hours! Yes, I know I am the most blessed mother, to be able to say that. I am so thankful to be with Ezekiel all the time, and to have Nathan working here on the farm. If I want to see Nathan during the day I simply take Ezekiel outside. :)   yeah the picture of Rainbow has nothing to do with this post I just thought they were cool!
